Terms of Use
Last updated: [DATE]
These terms explain how this website, run by [LEGAL ENTITY] ("SEHI", "we", "us"), may be used, and how our service works. By using this website you agree to these terms.
What SEHI does
SEHI is a network of vetted local specialist companies. When you submit an enquiry, we pass your details to one specialist company covering your trade and area, so they can contact you to arrange and quote the work. We do not carry out the work ourselves.
Your contract is with the specialist
Any quotation, contract, guarantee or warranty for work is made directly between you and the specialist company. SEHI is not a party to that contract, does not set or take payment for the work, and is not responsible for the work carried out. Nothing on this website is an offer to carry out work at any particular price.
Quotes and decisions
Quotes arranged through SEHI are free and carry no obligation. You are free to accept or decline any quote, and to obtain quotes from other companies at any time.
Our vetting
We check specialist companies before they join our network and review them on an ongoing basis. This is a genuine selection process, but it is not a guarantee of any particular outcome, and it does not replace your own judgement. We encourage you to satisfy yourself about any company before entering into a contract with them.
Using this website
You may use this website for personal, non-commercial purposes. You must not misuse it, attempt to gain unauthorised access to it, or use it to send spam or unlawful material. Content on this site belongs to SEHI and may not be reproduced for commercial purposes without permission.
Accuracy
We keep this website as accurate and up to date as we reasonably can, but we do not guarantee that every detail is complete or current at all times. Trades and areas covered can change.
Liability
Nothing in these terms limits any liability that cannot be limited by law. Subject to that, SEHI is not liable for losses arising from work carried out by a specialist company, or from your use of, or inability to use, this website.
Privacy
How we handle your personal information is explained in our Privacy Policy.
Changes
We may update these terms from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated date.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales, and the courts of England and Wales have exclusive jurisdiction.
[Recommended: have a solicitor glance over these terms before high volume — same review as the privacy policy.]
